Welcome to Picard's 24/7 Freelancer Server. We have recently upgraded to a great mod called The Next Generation version 1.7 (TNG is the abreviation). You can download this mod from here. The reason we upgraded to this mod is maily because it makes this game A LOT better. If you havent tried it yet, we guarantee that you will love it. To run this mod you will aslo need the Freelancer Mod Manager. That can be downloaded here. Make sure that you install the Mod Manager FIRST, then the TNG mod. Once both installed, run the mod manager, click on The Next Generation 1.7, and then activate. After just run Freelancer with you new AWESOME mod. If you want to play the normal game or want to go into servers that aren't runnign this mod, simply go into the Mod Manager and deactivate The Next Generation 1.7. Thank you and enjoy!
